Position Title: IT Technician
Location: Roanoke, VA
Duration: 6-month contract-hire
Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and physically capable Entry-Level Helpdesk Technician to join our team. This role involves a variety of tasks including camera installations, running cables, configuring web pages, and managing access control doors. The ideal candidate will assist with guest check-ins and support 125 accounts, including handling deals up to $800k.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and configure security cameras.
- Assist in running cables and setting up network infrastructure.
- Help configure web pages and manage access control systems.
- Provide support for guest check-ins.
- Perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs and running cables.
- Learn and assist with network and cabling tasks.
- Provide helpdesk support to various clients, including sheriff departments and beverage companies.
- Manage and support 125 accounts, including handling deals up to $800k.
Qualifications:
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Basic understanding of network and cabling is a plus.
- Strong willingness to learn and develop new skills.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
